Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable conduct and usage standards when querying, searching, and extracting data using Parallel APIs.
1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines required safety standards for all users, developers, and autonomous agents interacting with Parallel Web Systems infrastructure.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use Parallel APIs to: (a) conduct unauthorized vulnerability testing or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against third-party web origins; (b) harvest personal biometric, healthcare, or government ID data in violation of applicable laws; (c) generate deceptive spam, automated harassment, or malware; or (d) bypass paywalls and CAPTCHAs in violation of origin terms.
3. Responsible Autonomous Agent Operation
Autonomous agents utilizing Parallel Search, Task, or Extract must adhere to polite web crawling standards, respect robots.txt source directives, and maintain reasonable request rate concurrency.
4. Enforcement & Suspension
Parallel reserves the right to immediately suspend API keys and terminate access for any account found in willful violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.
